Through the open case back, you can see the engine that powers your Astro Skeleton. This includes the synchronized motion of gears, springs, the balance wheel's oscillation, the escapement's precision, and the winding of the mainspring. The case back is engraved with the powerful Latin motto "Per Aspera Ad Astra" - translating to "through hardship to the stars" - serving as an inspirational daily reminder. Ornamental Frosted Baseplate and Bridges

In the Astro Skeleton both bridges and baseplate underwent our signature Paul Rich frosted finish, adding a level of sophistication to the structural elements of the watch movement. The frost-kissed surfaces, with their intricate cutouts, contribute to the overall aesthetic complexity of the Astro Skeleton. Each bridge and the baseplate become a canvas that captures and reflects light, adding our trademark shimmer to the watch.

Sapphire coated reinforced mineral crystal glass

The Astro Collection features a sapphire-coated reinforced mineral crystal glass—a purposeful fusion of durability and elegance. The sapphire coating not only adds robustness, resisting scratches and impacts, but also enhances clarity and reduces glare, contributing to both the longevity and visual appeal of the timepiece. The glass, however, will not pass a diamond test since it's only coated with and not made of sapphire.

Gold PVD coating

In the Paul Rich Astro Collection, we introduce two distinct shades of opulence: "Mason Gold" for classic 18k gold and "Eclipse Gold" for a luxurious 18k rose gold hue. Both variations feature a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating, elevating the surfaces with a rich and enduring layer of gold.
