Lapis Lazuli Dial

Lapis lazuli is a semi-precious stone, mined, cut, and polished into the dial of every Frosted Star Dust II Lapis Nebula. Cobalt lazurite. White calcite veining. Gold pyrite flecks. Each dial is cut from a different fragment of stone, so no two are exactly alike. Across the face, applied crystal hour markers cut as baguettes catch the light. Bright crystal against deep cobalt. Set into Egyptian royal jewelry and reserved by Renaissance painters for sacred art, a stone mined for 6,000 years.

Swiss Movement

A Swiss-made Ronda quartz caliber drives every Frosted Star Dust II Lapis Nebula. To be designated Swiss, the movement must be assembled in a Swiss-based factory, regulated and inspected in Switzerland, and meet the technical standards of the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry. Quartz construction holds time within seconds per month and runs maintenance-free for years on a single battery.

Can the watch be customized?

At the moment we do not offer any customization.

Do you offer exchanges?

As long as you did not remove any protective foils you may exchange your watch within 30 days from the date of delivery.

How do I care for the lapis dial?

The dial sits behind sapphire crystal, which protects it from skin contact, sweat, and dust during normal wear. Lapis lazuli is a natural stone, durable but not indestructible, so avoid hard impacts and store the watch away from harder jewelry that could scratch the case.

Is the lapis lazuli real?

Yes, lapis lazuli is a genuine semi-precious stone. Each dial is cut from a different piece, so the natural calcite veining and pyrite flecks vary from watch to watch. No two are exactly alike.

Is the watchband adjustable?

Yes, the watchband is adjustable to better fit your wrist. Simply add or remove a few links from the watchband with the tool included in the watchbox.

Is there any warranty?

All our watches are protected under limited warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase. If you become aware of a defect in parts or workmanship during this time, please contact us at help@paul-rich.com with photos or videos depicting the flaw.

Will my dial look exactly like the photos?

No. Lapis lazuli is a natural stone, and every dial is cut from a different fragment. The deep cobalt colour stays the same across all watches, but the calcite veining and pyrite flecks form their own pattern in every piece. Your watch will look different from the photos, and from every other Lapis Nebula. That is the design.
